UN SALUTO DA GRADO

Un Saluto da Grado is a site-specific exhibition curated and designed by Architect & Friends for the Consorzio Grado Turismo, celebrating 130 years of tourism in Grado. Set within a former 1960s nightclub, the project reinterprets the existing interior through a contemporary spatial strategy defined by a circular layout that guides movement and perception.

The exhibition traces the early development of Grado as a seaside destination—highlighting the arrival by boat from Belvedere, historic accommodations, the old town, beach life, and early leisure culture—through a curated sequence of more than 400 historic postcards, conceived as immersive walk-throughs of the city as it once was. Designed graphics, colour palettes and typography reflect the original promotional languages of early tourism.
