The use of local sunburnt wood combined with fine fabrics was our approach to create a charming and laid-back atmosphere for our client's vacation home. By modifying the contractor's proposed layout we created an open floor plan with a central fireplace to devide the spaces and functions but at the same time let them appear bigger than they really are. The latest in Italian products like tiles or bathroom accessories combined with Austrian crafting techniques like wooden wall paneling, custom-made furniture and handwoven rugs marry a contemporary aesthetic with local alpine spirit.
