The Offcut Creations project originates from a simple yet critical observation: significant quantities of high-quality stone are routinely discarded or downcycled despite their intrinsic material value.
At the core of the initiative is a design methodology rooted in reuse and reinterpretation, where each fragment becomes the starting point for a new object. Rather than imposing a fixed form, the design responds to the unique veining, color and texture of each offcut, allowing material characteristics to inform geometry and detailing.
