VIA MILANO

VIA MILANO

The renovation of a modest 1950s residential building that has been reinterpreted through a contemporary architectural language. The project preserves the building's original structure while introducing a refined spatial organization and a restrained material palette.

The house is organized across two levels, with the living and dining areas placed on the upper floor to benefit from natural light and views, while the ground floor accommodates the bedrooms and bathrooms, creating a clear distinction between public and private spaces.
A key aspect of the design is the careful combination of raw concrete, natural wood and bespoke crafted elements, which gives the interiors a balanced character - minimal yet warm. Through subtle interventions and attention to detail, the renovation enhances the existing architecture while improving functionality and spatial quality.
