INSPIRED BY THE SUN, THE SEA AND THE RICH HISTORY OF GRADO, ITALY

The proposal elaborated by Architect & Friends offers new public spaces, marina club & harbor, car park, collectively used garden as well as seven luxury residential units.
Our design approach for this master plan was to create intimate, light-flooded dwelling units with courtyards, gardens as well as private pools. At the same time the aprox. 3000 square meters large area opens up to the public and becomes the center of a new quarter with a modern look that will keep the rich history of Grado.
The architecture is characterised by a combination of water, green spaces, living and leisure. The focus on local materials, craftsmen and building techniques will keep the rich Italian tradition alive while the remaining industrial charm is intended to be a stepping stone into the future for Grado.
