EARTH AND SEA INSPIRE THE DESIGN FOR THIS VACATION HOME WHERE INDOOR AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES COALESCE
Earth and sea inspire the design for this vacation home situated along the beach on the Island of Grado. Using a balanced palette of colors and materials, the design frames the horizon line of the Adriatic Sea. Situated on a narrow plot this home is organized around the functions and the furniture. Moving from an apartment to this newly built home due to growing needs, it becomes a vacation hideaway for the client and his family. The large foyer with elevator and a private guestroom with seperate bathroom forms the ground floor. Large-scale glass windows enclose the master bedroom with private en-suite bathroom situated on the first floor. Together with two more bedrooms, also with spectacular sea views and seperate bathrooms, all the rooms are surrounded by a terrace. Large-scale sliding glass doors also enclose the living and dining area with open kitchen and bar on the second floor.

The spacious terrace is hidden from prying eyes by a covered area and wooden slats that form the facade and the balustrade. They also guarantee the necessary privacy when indoor and outdoor living coalesce.
